Performance evaluations serve as a constructive tool to identify and review performance against university-defined core expectations, as well as specific job responsibilities. In addition, performance evaluations may be tied to performance-based salary increases.
Per SPP 309-01 and SPP 808, classified, university staff and non-faculty administrators must receive an annual performance evaluation. Performance evaluations for student workers and Staff PRNs are optional.

Current performance review period is from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020. All staff who worked during this time period, regardless of funding source, both part-time and full-time, must have an evaluation completed. This only applies to staff and does not apply to student workers, RAs, TAs, GAs, or GSAs.
Performance evaluations are to be completed thoughtfully and include the following elements:

Naming formats for submitted forms:
Please use the following naming formats when you submit the forms to CHS HR:
While supervisors may choose to use decimal ratings in the review itself, ratings must be submitted as whole numbers to OHR and PeopleSoft (e.g. 3.4 = 3.0, 3.5=4.0 ).
