Purchasing Standards

Purchasing Technology Items

The following are a list of technology-related items that DO NOT require pre-approval from CHS IT. Below is our list of recommended vendors and brands and encourage end users to reach out to CHS IT for any questions before purchasing technology items.

Items that will not be approved by CHS IT for purchase:

  • Home wifi routers
  • Monitors, docking stations, cables, printers, etc. for home use

This list will be reviewed periodically and subject to change. Please note that items purchased with research or discretionary funds are still considered property of the university.

All other technology purchases need to be approved by CHS IT Consulting. Please submit a ticket at http://links.asu.edu/chsit and someone on the team will assist with your technology purchase.
