How to submit a buyout request-Click here
If you have an administrative effort, please send an email requesting the form to Rachel.K.Otero@asu.edu for tenure/tenure track or Brenda.Madison@asu.edu for non-tenure track. The form will be initiated and sent to you for completion and approval by your administrative role supervisor(s).
A faculty’s workload agreement is a collaborative agreement between the faculty and their Assistant/Associate Dean regarding the distribution of faculty effort over the upcoming academic year. Depending on the faculty’s track, rank, and associated responsibilities, workload is typically distributed between teaching, service, scholarship/research, and administration. These agreements can be revised over the course of the year as new opportunities emerge (e.g. grant funding).
